It’s HOT dummy!! 


Are you as excited for the summertime as I am? “And think of the summers of the past, Adjust the bass and let the alpine blast… Leanin' to the side but you can't speed through,” SING WITH ME NOW,” Two miles an hour so everybody sees you.” 

Even though this years summer might be a scorcher in the PNW, I still look forward to the BBQ’s, the lazy afternoons and the chance to see some live music. With vaccination rates getting higher and things starting to open up and schedule events, I hope we have a great and safe time. 

In researching tools and information about my ADD, I saw an interesting video by a coach on Youtube. Her welcome video was an interesting idea that gave me something of value, for free! She spoke about 6 area’s of our lives and how to determine how much value you give that area and what your expectations are. Once you go through the different areas prioritizing along the way, you have a blue print for where you need to focus your attention and when. 

This spoke to the restaurant system I’ve spoken about over the last few weeks. Once I had the items prioritized it was simply a matter of plugging them into the system. The 6 areas can vary by person and change your whole life. At the moment, mine consist of the following: 

  • Health 
  • Family 
  • Personal life 
  • Music 
  • G.R.P. 
  • Work 

Now, Health is not my top priority. It’s not something I really think about all that often AND I know I need to. Thats why it’s on my list. 

My task now is to dive deep with a pad and a pen to really structure what is important to me, so that hopefully I can start to focus on what matters and not on what doesn’t so much. Seems daunting, fun and scary all at the same time. I look forward to it and I appreciate you for coming along for the ride. 

One more thing before I go, be curious instead of judgemental. Ask questions, you never know what or who you might find…
