Hello,
You know what? I had 10x my school workload being laid up in a wheelchair homeschooling than I had in the 2 years I attended Hogan. I really had to bust my ass to get the work done so I could pass. Funny by the time I came back to school full time at the end of March, I had all the credits I needed to graduate and then some. They had already taken all the yearbook photos, soother than live shots of us playing at the school, i was disappeared from the yearbook. Of course my Rock N Roll self didn't care.
Sean and I reconnected of course. Blue Hippo was pretty much over at that point but Sean is always working another project. Over the next few years I joined and/or co-created over 15 different bands. If i wasn't in the band, I was a roadie, guitar tech, beer "bitch". I loved being around that scene. I had some good graces to get into before I could be accepted back into the fold.
I played with so many different personalities and venue situations. We would play anywhere! We even played at a country bar infant of a 90 for screen playing country music videos muted as we played.
I am getting ahead of myself. At this point i am Seans "guitar tech" for a scream metal band called SAP. So this is circa 1997, think Korn, Deftones with just a hint of Metallica. It was AWESOME!! They even had their own house(the drummer had a blank check, that's all i have to say about that). They practiced in the garage however so many people showed up that it usually turned into a raging party in no time.
Huge gatherings of that sort have never been my thing so I wasn't really part of the houses culture. I was there one particular night when my rookie party mistakes saved both Sean and myself a lot of trouble.
To be continued......

Part 2 of One hell of a house party!
